SDG - DISK STRANDER

SDG strander disc is a machine for the production of high quality strands and flakes for OSB panels and / or low density PB. It is possible to study different setups and configurations according to the strand particle size. Details on the disc are design in order to produce the ideal size of material. Different settings with different geometric in order to obtain the proper amount of surface and core.

KNIFE RING FLAKERS

SRC is a flaking machine with the lowest energy consumption and highest capacity on the market up to 18t/h bd, ideal for producing: high quality flakes for PB - Particle Board, flat flakes for SPB - Super Light Board
and core layer for OSB - Oriented Strand Board.
The innovative structure of SRC allows the optimal distribution of chips all over the entire length of the knife due to wobble disc distribution.
Furthermore, SRC allows the reduction of power consumption up to 30% less than the competitors, the saving of wear costs and a considerable reduction in dust, maintaining a constant thickness of the flakes.

Over the years, Globus realized a wide range of drum chippers, with capacity from 5t/h up to 165 t/h bd.
MTG provides the ability to create different machine setups for production of standard MDF/PB chips or MICROCHIPS, or SUPERCHIPS for low density PB and OSB strand.
Our machines are designed for a non stop 24 hours work (except knives changing time) ensuring a chipping quality according to specific customers requirements and guaranteed hardened toothed rollers with a duration 5 times longer than those on the market.
