MAIER KNIFE RING FLAKERS - THE ORIGINAL

MAIER Knife Ring Flakers produce uniform high-quality flakes or strands for standard PB, Super PB (super strong or low density boards), OSB/FOSB, as well as flakes for pellet and briquette plants. Flakers enable processing chips of different sizes, made of various wood assortments, including low-cost and recycled wood. MRZ and MSF-PB flakers are equipped with FlowOptimizer, ensuring optimum material distribution over both the complete knife ring width and circumference. This results in extraordinary high flaker capacities up to 23 t/h b.d., low energy consumption and extended service life of wear parts by improved flake quality. Static improved knife ring and rotor with precise bearing system, operating on one-shaft principle ensure optimized cutting conditions and superior flake quality. MAIER flakers can be equipped with knife rings and rotors of various designs, as well as individual cutting speeds to be perfectly tailored to customer needs and offer maximum plant flexibility.

MAIER Drum Chippers are a tried-and-trusted solution for the production of uniform high-quality chips from different wood assortments for panel boards such as PB, MDF, and OSB, and for pellet and briquette plants. The HRL chipper range covers up to 2400 mm rotor diameter, whereby the machines can reach capacities of up to 190 t/h b.d. Chipper types, designed for production of MAXI-chips, MICRO-chips and BIOMASS, are equipped with especially designed rotors and screens. Chip lengths of 4-180 mm are possible. Aggressively shaped infeed rollers with narrow running gaps enable excellent material grip and optimal feeding of all wood assortments from sawdust via sawmill chips to low cost wood assortments and logs. Heavy-duty, wear protected rotor, screen and infeed roller design enable long service life and simplified maintenance. Numerous robust and energy-efficient MAIER drum chippers have been working 24/7 under challenging conditions and heavy-duty loads for decades.
