Since the inception of first sanding machine in 1988, after more than 30 years effort, Sufoma has successfully developed various series of sanding machine with over one hundred models. It works well for wood-based panels including MDF, particleboard, OSB and plywood. It is suitable for metal sanding such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum plate. Also, it can be applied to new building materials like calcium silicate board, glass magnesium board, pressure fire board and gypsum board. Sufoma sanding machine can process from 3ft to 9.3ft, up to 1.6mm, with speed of 120-150m/min and precision of ±0.05mm. Sufoma has delivered in total 2800 sets of sanding machines to over 30 countries.

Our company specializes in providing core equipment for the raw‑material preparation stage of engineered wood panels, including drum and disc chipper machines, thermomechanical refining systems, flaking machines, long‑board flaking lines, and multi‑layer press production lines. These solutions efficiently process raw materials such as logs, branchwood, and bamboo. Notably, our ring‑type long‑board flaking system—with cutter‑drum diameters of 1.2 m and 2.0 m—fills a domestic market gap, delivering a maximum flake output of up to 15 t/h (on a dry basis) and perfectly meeting the requirements of OSB/FOSB production lines with annual capacities of 150,000 m³ or more.

Complete fiber preparation process for the engineered wood panel industry

Our company specializes in the production of wood-based panels and offers BM and EX series refiner (thermomechanical) systems, available in 36- to 64-inch configurations with single‑unit capacities ranging from 3 to 30 dry tons per hour. These systems can be integrated into production lines capable of manufacturing 400,000 m³ of medium- and high‑density fiberboard annually. Our next‑generation, high‑yield, energy‑efficient systems meet international advanced standards, achieving a specific energy consumption of less than 95 kWh per dry ton of fiber.
