MAIER Drum Chippers are a tried-and-trusted solution for the production of uniform high-quality chips from different wood assortments for panel boards such as PB, MDF, and OSB, and for pellet and briquette plants. The HRL chipper range covers up to 2400 mm rotor diameter, whereby the machines can reach capacities of up to 190 t/h b.d. Chipper types, designed for production of MAXI-chips, MICRO-chips and BIOMASS, are equipped with especially designed rotors and screens. Chip lengths of 4-180 mm are possible. Aggressively shaped infeed rollers with narrow running gaps enable excellent material grip and optimal feeding of all wood assortments from sawdust via sawmill chips to low cost wood assortments and logs. Heavy-duty, wear protected rotor, screen and infeed roller design enable long service life and simplified maintenance. Numerous robust and energy-efficient MAIER drum chippers have been working 24/7 under challenging conditions and heavy-duty loads for decades.
