WMF 2023 Grandly Opens in Shanghai
Leading the Woodworking Furniture Industry on the Road

Shanghai International Furniture Machinery & Woodworking Machinery Fair (WMF 2023), in collaboration with CIFF (Shanghai), kicked off at the Shanghai Hongqiao National Exhibition and Convention Center in Halls 7.1 and 8.1. This all-in-one event showcases furniture production technology and establishes a grand gathering for the complete woodworking technology industry chain.

The four-day WMF 2023 is a large-scale professional exhibition for furniture production equipment and woodworking machinery, covering an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters. It brings together more than 370 exhibitors from China, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the United States, and Taiwan Region, aiming to attract over 30,000 professional visitors. The dual exhibition convergence brings together top machinery and equipment exhibitors from around the world, joining hands to connect the upstream and downstream industries and meet the supply-demand needs.

Under the leadership of the show organizers - Mr. Liu Qun, the President of China National Forestry Machinery Association, Mr. Parry Chung, General Manager of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., Mr. Yang Huawei from CIFF (Shanghai), and Mr. Wei Jian, Secretary-General of China National Forestry Machinery Association, more than 30 distinguished local and overseas delegates participated in the opening ceremony. In addition, the exhibition will welcome industry associations and buyer delegations from local and overseas, including Anhui, Ganzhou, Guangxi, Hebei, Hubei, Huzhou, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Ninghai, Shandong, Sichuan, Wenzhou, Wuxi, Wuhan, Xuzhou, Yancheng, Zhangjiagang, Zhejiang, Malaysia, Sabah, Indonesia, Thailand, Peru, Vietnam, Russia, Belarus, Egypt, and South Korea to visit.

In addition to the comprehensive fair, WMF offers open talks and forums. More than 30 special guests from local to overseas are invited to share on major themes such as the development of global furniture manufacturing, new material trends, EB coating, digital printing and finishing technology etc.

The first day highlighted event, “The WMF 2023 Opening Ceremony cum Main Forum” with the theme of "Global Development Outlook: Insights into Smart & Sustainable Opportunities", engaged the on-site visitors to participate actively. The rest of the events for the coming days include: “The China Green Development Conference for the Wood Industry”, "2023 Innovative Technologies & Materials driving Sustainability and Healthy Life in the Wood-working Industry” and “China National Forestry Machinery Association Processing Machinery Group Standard Approval Meeting”.

The WMF showcase at the National Exhibition and Convention Center for four days from 5-8 Sep 2023.
